  9.      Editor, the CDTV CD-ROM Operating System, CD-ROM Creation and
  10.      Optimization Tools, CD-ROM Motion Video Tools, Atari Lynx Tools,
  11.      Amiga Logo, Object Oriented Languages, and more.

  16.        Development of next generation interactive television technology
  17.        for broadband systems.
  18.      * Pantaray, Inc., President. Developed a range of products,
  19.        including the CDTV (Commodore's consumer based CD-ROM system), the
  20.        VISCorp Cable Box Operating System, CD-ROM simulation,
  21.        premastering, and optimization tools, one of the first non-linear
  22.        digital video editors, and the first motion video from CD-ROM
  23.        (CDXL).
  24.      * American Multimedia, President. A new venture directed toward
  25.        introducing CD-ROM multimedia into employee training departments
  26.        for the top corporations in the US. We focused on technology to
  27.        provide simple, TV-style, motion video user interfaces from
  28.        CD-ROM.
  29.      * Sassenrath Research, President. Programming and consulting
  30.        company. Wrote the main development tools for the Epyx Handy
  31.        (Atari Lynx hand-held game machine), created Amiga Logo, wrote the
  32.        book: Guru's Guide to the Commodore Amiga, and other code for
  33.        Electronic Arts, VPL, Commodore, ...
  34.      * Apple Computer Advanced Technology Group, Technology Manager,
  35.        Headed the development of next generation object-oriented
  36.        operating systems and program execution environments. Part of the
  37.        Cray Supercomputer group.
  38.      * Commodore Amiga, Inc., Manager of Operating Systems. Designed and
  39.        implemented one of the first Multitasking Operating Systems for
  40.        personal computers. The design included pre-emptive multitasking,
  41.        message based communications, dynamically loading libraries and
  42.        devices, interrupt system.
  43.      * Next Generations Systems, President. Designed and coprogrammed the
  44.        NGS Forth programming system for the IBM PC.
  45.      * Hewlett Packard, Computer Group, Software Engineer. Developed one
  46.        of the first graphically oriented user interfaces (1982) utilizing
  47.        a bit mapped display, icons, fonts, a mouse, and remote procedure
  48.        calls (RPC). Also responsible for the development of HP3000
  49.        operating systems (MPE).
  50.      * National Science Foundation. Upper atmospheric physics research
  51.        scientist at the South Pole, Antarctica.
  52.      * University of California, Davis, Behavioral Biology Department.
  53.        Wrote programs to model and simulate neurons, statistical analysis
  54.        of behavior.
